Caratada de mango [ESP/ENG]

En casa de mi comadre Rossmary hay una mata de mango que enhorabuena está cargándose del delicioso fruto, ya se logran ver algunos pintones y unos pocos maduros, la gran mayoría están tiernos aún. Aprovechamos que teníamos un kilo de azúcar y tumbamos un tobo de mango para hacer "carato" (a diferencia del jugo que solo se licúa y se cuela, el carato se hierve previamente). A mí en mi personal me gusta combinarlo con leche y hacer una especie de "merengada". Muchas personas no coinciden conmigo con agregarle leche al carato de mango, ni Rossmary ni sus hijos (Alan y Alexander) lo han probado con leche, espero pronto poder brindarle esa experiencia a sus paladares.

At my comadre Rossmary's house there is a mango bush that is now bearing the delicious fruit, we can already see some pints and a few ripe ones, most of them are still tender. We took advantage of the fact that we had a kilo of sugar and we cut down a mango tobo to make "carato" (unlike the juice that is only liquefied and strained, the carato is boiled beforehand). I personally like to combine it with milk and make a kind of "merengada". Many people do not agree with me with adding milk to the mango carato, neither Rossmary nor her sons (Alan and Alexander) have tried it with milk, I hope soon to be able to offer that experience to their palates.
