Bambi

Hi guys 🙋‍♀️
Today I drew Bambi, one of the main characters of Disney movies

Walt Disney was always fascinated with nature – his first True Life Adventure aired 11 years after Bambi in 1953. Bambi was The Walt Disney Companies first large experience with documenting and exploring wildlife. 💚

The extensive on-the-ground footage would be the inspiration and would lead to the creation of the True Life Adventures! 🙂🦋

In a classic Disney animation, a fawn named Bambi joins his new friends, a young rabbit named Thumper and a skunk kit named Flower in happily exploring the woods. 😊

Bambi is captivated with a young doe named Faline, and he learns from his doting mother and his father -- the Great Prince of the Forest -- that besides the delights of the forest, there is danger in open meadows where hunters can see them. 😐

Though fear and tragedy touch Bambi's life, another spring brings renewal.

Only 900 words are uttered throughout the entire film.
This is fascinating to me and proves that an emotional and good film can be made without a lot of spent words 😁💜
