OBEDIENCE

Obedience is better than sacrifice was the words of Prophet Samuel when addresses the disobedience of King Saul of Ancient Israel. He thought that he was doing the right by sparing the lives of good and fatty herds for sacrificial smoke to God but God's clear command was to kill them off. According to Prophet Samuel, It is better to obey God and follow his directives. God is not lacking any provision for sacrifice and can still provide more if there's any need so it is not a good reason to disobey his commands.

Whenever we obey and follow commands, it tells a lot about us and show our heart conditions. There's more to striving to follow and being submissive to the rules. A lot of blessings therein for obedient follows.

Like King Saul, disobedience results to the lost of kingship and majesty, it brings bad results and affects our relationship with others so we should avoid it at all cost.
