Why are fingers not equal?
The question above has been a big one on my heart for a while. People try to justify reasons why certain individuals have access to some sort of goodies in life and whatever their claims were, it sometimes seem relatable and probably reason enough to validate their claims.
I have seen motivational speakers who are busy painting the picture of a perfect life they are yet to attain. Recently, I saw someone advising a group of people on how to get something done, after research, I discovered the fellow is yet to get what he’s advising others about.
I begin to ask questions on whether there are hidden things (beyond whatever people seem to talk about) responsible for success or failure. Personally, a lot of things worked for some people around me who confessed they had no idea how those things worked. While others seem to stick with the school of thought that supports following certain processes in order to get desired results.
My question to them is very simple, why are some people following "steps" and still not getting their desired results? Then, why are some people not following any steps but things are working out for them?
I have seen people who after interacting with them, I discover they know little or nothing about the business they claim to be making money from and yet are successful and I have seen people who know so much yet make so little. Why are fingers not equal?
The universe is responsible for whatever share of goodies or challenges that is assigned to us. But I believe, something is responsible for this inequality. I see a lot of people who do so well online, but their closets show a different picture. Trust me, I am talking as a journalist.
I don’t know what or who arrange the fingers, but I hope the tallest fingers with goodies gets to be mine and yours always!
