I am a new member here. As a new member today I will share with you a poem about shepherd boy. Let's start.

On the green grass by the river, The shepherd is running on the edge of the forest. Flute in hand, herd of cows, It is better to think in a calm tone.

He sings on the mountain, Vrindavan filled with the sound of the flute. The blue sky is covered with clouds, The shepherd's tune awakens the heart.

Sweating from his hard work, Yet he smiles in the free air. I don't remember the charms of the city. The village is the address of his happiness.

The shepherd boy—nature's friend, The smell of life in the simple soul. A shadow of peace in his life, His magic is close to the ground.

নদীর তীরে সবুজ ঘাসে,
চলছে রাখাল বনে-প্রান্তে।
হাতে বাঁশি, গরুর পাল,
শান্ত সুরে মন করে ভালো।

পাহাড়ে উঠে ডাকে সে গান,
বাঁশির সুরে ভরে বৃন্দাবন।
মেঘে ঢেকে যায় নীল আকাশ,
রাখালের সুরে জাগে হৃৎপাশ।

ঘাম ঝরে তার কঠোর কাজে,
তবু সে হাসে মুক্ত হাওয়ায়।
শহরের জৌলুস থাকে না মনে,
গ্রামই তার সুখের ঠিকানায়।

রাখাল বালক—প্রকৃতির বন্ধু,
সরল প্রাণে জীবনের গন্ধ।
তার জীবনে শান্তির ছায়া,
মাটির কাছে থাকে তার মায়া।
