Slabs
Hello every one i would like share what i studied today morning.
There are 4 types of slabs.
First one is one way slab and the second one is two way slab and 3rd one is flat slab and the last one is Flat plates.
First i will about One way slabs. These slabs gives support continuosly on to the two opposite sides so that loads are carried only along one direction.
Second one is about two way slabs.These gives support continuosly on to all 4 sides and the loads are carried along both directions to give support.with out slab we dont have any house we will have open houses.
The remaining are Flat slabs and flat plates.these are multispan slabs which directly rest on column without beams.Flat slabs are different from flat plates.there will be increased thickness in it..
