THE WINNING ATTITUDE

Attitude is not what we see, but the way we see what we see. Some see with gratitude while some see with disdain.

People whose hearts are not pure suspect everyone they see. They are quick to judge people. They make unhealthy assumptions, thereby pushing people away from them.

It takes people with awesome attitudes to unlock the greatness in other people.

The winning attitude is the attitude of Jesus, our perfect example for living. And for us to possess this winning attitude, we ought to be like minded.

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2:1-30

Components of the winning attitude
1. It avoids strife or vainglory.
2. It possess lowliness of mind
3. It esteems other people than itself. It is concerned more about the wellbeing of other people.
4. It does not look only on its own, rather it looks out for the things pertaining to others. A practical example of selflessness. This is the key to true happiness and fulfilment in life. Selfishness and self centeredness are both self destructive mechanisms.
5. It never concentrates on the bad in others, rather it looks out for the good in them.
6. It is a constant supporting force. Cannot bare to see others fail or fall. A helping hand for as many it can serve.
7. It never judges others based on the wrongs done to it in the past.
8. Committed to forgiveness and showing mercy.
9. A builder of friendships and strengthener of the strong bonds of relationships.
10. It is never given to murmuring, complaining and disputes.
11. It is not easily given to offence. Its anger does not linger beyond a day.
12. A committed thanks giver and praise worshiper.

Let these attitude traits form your living patterns and you will better live the life God intended you to live. A better world is possible with a renewed attitude.
