the first backyard robin seen this spring
Wisconsin and robins...the state bird. I've seen a few here and there while walking our dog Ms. Mabel in the morning, but I had yet to find one to photograph in our backyard. Finally, this past Sunday, while Hattie and I looked through our kitchen window, bird spotting (a Sunday morning tradition here), we found our first Robin of the new year.
