Monomad Challenge : Finding an Abandoned Home

My entry for the #monomad challenge.

After my Wednesday walk, I kept going down the Great River Road in Wisconsin to try to find a goat prairie. Well, I found it, hiked up (and almost passed out due to the intense incline), and found some views of the river. Yet on the walk back, I stumbled upon this area. Some type of abandoned home, long lost to time and to Driftless nature.

Even the abandoned workshed, or sauna, or whatever this was intended to be is becoming lost to nature.

Fortunately, I didn't see or disturb anyone who might be in the area. Granted, there were gunshots nearby (for hunting, of course), and maybe that spooked me a bit, and away I left.
