a sunrise in the driftless

While most folks were still in bed this morning, I managed to get another hike in at the quarry. At the time, thanks to the sun glare, I didn't realize I had picked up the branches in the top left corner. I could erase them out...but ugh, I hate doing too much editing after the fact and prefer to leave the moment as is. I also brought along my old Powershot...to catch some views of the beautiful light...I'll share those later this week. I took this with my Pixel 8 Pro camera.
