A Great River Road Bald Eagle
We did a family trip to Iowa over the holiday weekend to explore a National Monument called Effigy Mounds. Most of the hike resulted in few pictures; I did get a woodpecker and a butterfly, but alas, no hawks or eagles. However, on the drive home through a town called Ferryville, Wisconsin, Hattie and I saw an eagle soar into a nearby tree along the highway. We stopped, and I managed to get a couple of photos of the beautiful bird of prey.
I took these with Canon T7 with my Sigma 150-600 mm lens. I see a lot of people prefer Nikon and Fuji over Canon...so any recommendations for me would be appreciated! I hate to start investing in lena if I change it up.
Thanks for checking out my photos. And always, any comments/advice are appreciated!
