Hello Hive Community Members,

With this post, I am going to provide you update on the-hive-mobile.app development progress with screenshots.

Note: This is straight 23 day of Hive mobile application development.
And I have been working on this project over 2 months now.

Try it out now

• From your mobile, just open https://the-hive-mobile.app

How to navigate to User Notifications?

• Tap on any of the user-avatar from feed

• Now, you'll be navigated to User channel page
• Here you'll see many tabs.
• Notifications tab is the last one.
• Tap on it.

User Notifications Screen

• The Hive mobile app shows last 100 notifications of a user.
• You can view notification of any user.

Changes in Posts & Blog

• Instead of keeping 2 different tabs for Blog & Posts, I merged them into One Tab.
• Now, user can use FAB (Frequently Access button) & switch to Posts / Blog anytime.

Changes in Comments & Replies

• Instead of keeping 2 different tabs for Comments & Replies, I merged them into One Tab.
• Now, user can use FAB (Frequently Access button) & switch to Comments / Replies anytime.

What did it take to build this looking small feature?

• 379 lines of code added
• 40 lines were deleted
• I spent 4 hours or more

Upcoming todos - Communities

• I will work on showing more details of communities.
• I will also work on showing list of posts under specific community.
• I am going to add search & filter communities

Upcoming todos - Voters list

• Sort votes by different methods
• In votes show author's reputation

Pending To-Dos

• Further experiments on markdown
• Show more details on post page apart from post-body
