Zoo: A Brutal Face of Mankind.
Hi friends! Think you are captive in a case and others looking at you with wonder? It is funny to Imagine but do we know we ae doing this everyday? When I was child my most awaiting place to see was zoo. Not only me but also every child and especially villagers of Bangladesh is a dream to visit the zoo.
The National Zoo of Mirpur, Dhaka is the largest zoo of Bangladesh. About 2000 animals and birds are kept here in 186 acres of land. Mist of the animals are captive in case. Few animals are semi captive. So they can roam in a limited open space sorrunded by grills. The first case is for monkeys. When I was child I felt very joy and funny to see the monkeys. But now when I visit here with my younger cousins I felt very sad when I see the monkeys.
But not only for Monkeys I felt sad for all captive animals and birds and feel shame for mankind. I think it is too brutal to the animals. Where they could move free in the jungle instead of government authority torturing them to entertain us. Here the lions and the tigers lost their Kingdom and their natural beauty faded away. They can't eat properly as they are animal of prey. As it is unnatural to feed them in case they feel very helpless. Their face speak their minds conditions. Many birds are captive in a large case made of glass. I can feel that the birds are shouting to make them free. Other animals conditions are also the same.
I think this is not zoo this is a jail for many innocent creatures. There is a small museum where kept died animals following some special process. There was many fish aquariums also. The Zebras, Horses, Goyals, Donkeys, Elephants, Giraffes and few animals were semi captive so that they were looking fresher than full captive animals.
I think Zoo should be prohibited in all countries. Government should develop the safari park instead of the Zoo.
