I Almost Got Scammed | Razer Fake Mouses In Indian Stores

Recently I saw an ad on Instagram with 70% offer for the Razer Deathadder Elite mouse. The price of the product was 2200rs which was really cheap for a razer gaming mouse. So I texted them and told them that "I would like to buy the mouse and also I mentioned to them that I would only like to buy it from a store and don't want to buy it online". So I asked them about the store location in India so that I can go there and buy it. Then they asked me my location I told them my location like I live in Kerala and also some other details.
after a week they texted me on WhatsApp and told me that the product has arrived in Kerala and when are you planning to buy it. I told them I'm busy this week I will buy it next week. I asked them to share some images of the product so that I can verify if it was real or not before going to their location.
The 5G icon on box was little odd as I already watched a lot unboxing videos of the Razer deathadder videos on Youtube. Suddenly I started to contact Razer support team in facebook.

They told me to get the serial number of the product so I asked them in WhatsApp to share the serial number of the product and I shared it with razer

within minutes they responded and told me that the serial number is not valid and this product can be a duplicate.

So, I shared the screenshots of the replay from the Razer company to the store owners and this was their reaction.

I'm really sure that they will sell all those duplicate mouses to someone in India So please share it with your friends and don't get scammed
