Siamese Fighter fish fry hatching.
Before the weekend, I posted a video of my Siamese Fighter Fish mating.
After the eggs are laid, it takes only 3 days for the tiny fry to hatch!! They are really tiny when they hatch, and the stay close to the nest for about 3 days more. In this time the male will care for them, and bring them back to the nest if they should fall out. They also don't need to eat for the first few days, as they live from their yolk sack.
The Siamese fighter fish really is a very interesting fish to watch!!
