Maredsous Abdij: Blond
The Maresous Blond is brewed in Belgium and is one of the most original Belgium beers.
The beer even looks old in the bottle, by the way, I love the bottle's shape.
The beer comes in a 330 ml bottle and packs a hefty 6.5% alcohol.
It pours in a beautiful dark amber colour, with a huge head on top.
All too soon the glass was empty, just look at the left over foam, it looks like it has a crooked smile!
The beer had a nice malty taste, which I loved. Some recipe's should never be messed with, and this is one that stood the test of time.
