FunRide9 - My Actifit Report Card: October 27 2024

The whole family did the local funride for the first time. It took 3 or 4 miles for daniel-san@daniel-san to warm up to the experience, and he ended up riding the copilot for the second half of the ride.

2 bikes, a copilot and a bicycle trailer all fit nicely in the back of the family van.

The usual rig used to do the rides to our neighboring town was used, but the pace was way slower through our county's biggest city and with a lot more stop and go.

I took an evening nap and I am already sore from all the fun. I also might be sore from this mornings purchase at the swap meet.

A small section of the swap meet is usually new stuff and I do one walk through as I'm leaving the swap meet. Today I walked by a man who looked like he needed financial help and he had a couple hundred pounds of weight.

alt

I only purchased the weight because his condition touched my heart. I had seen a dolly that I had asked about early at the other end of the swap meet, so I grabbed that for $15 so I could make easier work of hauling the weight to the van.

alt

I pray for better and healthier days for the man who needed some weight lifted from his burden.

I earned every step today.

Best wishes and thank you
