We had no scheduled rain for today or any future days, but we got some serious rain for 5 minutes right after I mowed the lawns at my mom's rental house.

We have the usual fires here in California, and the fires make some cool colors in the sky.

Every time I mow lawns, I have to transport the lawnmower in the family van. I use a small section of an old fence for a ramp. I mowed three lawns today.

I actually mowed the lawn at our house in the rain.

So last Thursday I purchased the little pedal car, a 12" kids trek bike and this like new 20" Huffy for $12. The Huffy frame is just like #huffy1, so I transferred all the goodies from huffy1 to the like new frame in the last hour.

It has a new chain and all the new bearings. I love smooth a quiet operation.

#huffy1 had a bearing failure in the bottom bracket on the last ride, and it's a real quick and easy transfer of the chromoly handlebars and seatpost. The hardest transfer is the back wheel, and that isn't hard at all.

I'm excited to give the new frame a ride tomorrow. I can live with the lime green Huffy decal.

I completed the clothesline poles project earlier today. I'm excited to hang cool junk from it.
