[WE 126] Unexpected Package from a Good Samaritan

When I started my blogging journey, I saw that I was earning a good amount from it. I came to the decision that I would save every penny I could get on those blogging sites and buy myself my own laptop. I have had my laptop before. My mom bought it for me. Because my course is BSIT, a laptop is a must. Unfortunately, an accident happened that caused my laptop to be compromised.

Hello beautiful Hivers. This will be my entry for the Weekend Engagement Concept initiated by Mr. @galenkp. We have lot of choices for this weekend. The topic I chose is actually not my first choice but I ended up choosing this. We have 9 topic to choose this weekend and out of 9 topic, I chose this:

Weekend Package

"Ruffa! Someone is looking for you. It's your boyfriend."

Okay, whenever a parcel will arrive at our home, this is how my mother will call me. Like, seriously, is that how badly she wants me to have a boyfriend? If she calls me like this, either someone I know is visiting or it is just a parcel that I have to receive personally.

"Yes mother, coming!"

I am not expecting a parcel or a package today. In fact, I already received the last order I made last week, which was an earphone. But if ever a package arrives, I have only one person in mind that will send it to me. But then, I haven't received any messages from her, so it might be someone else. Maybe a friend on Hive Community?

"Man, this is quite heavy." I tried to shake it while listening to the sound in the side of the box, but I heard nothing. I'm getting curious with every second I hold it. If this is a weapon or what, then I will die. But if it's something useful, then lucky me. But I hope it is something useful and definitely not a bomb. A thing but not a human parts, lol.

I used a cutter to remove the tape that was taped on the box, and I am still deciding if I will continue to open it. So I stop in the middle of doing it and think again. It has my name, so it is surely mine. Now, I just need to trust whoever sent this and open it now. I take a deep breath and continue opening it.

After unboxing the box, just by seeing the name of it, I already got teary-eyed. You might say I am overreacting, but this is a wish come true. This is one of my dreams: to have my own laptop right now. I can buy one of them because I already have some savings, but I am just being practical. I would just rather save up more and then buy it once I already have enough savings.

But this blessing is really unexpected. And as I've said, it is part of my plan to buy a new laptop. I want to go back to where I left off when I lost my laptop. I want to start learning about coding again. Because I don't have the laptop anymore, I already forgot what I learned in those 4 years of studying for my course. Now, I want to relearn it, and maybe something more beautiful will happen

And now that I already have it, I can now start my plan. Relearn things and study hard. My favorite part of my course is web development. But yeah, because I got stuck for a long time, I have to start over again. I know I still have a lot of time. I can just start again and start my journey on this familiar path that is basically unfamiliar now. This time, I will take everything seriously. I will be more focused on it now. I can do this!

So yeah, if there's one thing in the world that I really want, That is a laptop, whatever brand as long as I can use it for everything. The plan for relearning things was already my plan even before. I just can't buy myself a laptop now because the money I have now was used to make it grow. I hope I can make this come true soon. I have no problem starting over again. For me to be able to move forward, if I have to take the same path again, then I will. I mean, this is what I want, so I will claim it.
