Christmas Belen

This Christmas Belen or the Nativity Scene of Jesus in the manger caught my attention because it is very huge and it is very eye catching. Belen refers to the crib or manger. For me, there is no better symbol for Christmas than the belen. Christmas belen is the most important of all the decorations for christmas because it serves as a simple reminder of something astonishing and that is the love of God for us. The sight of the nativity scene evokes the miracle of Jesus' conception, his very humble birth at the stable and his ultimate sacrifice for all us.

What is focused in the belen is the holy couple Mary and Joseph with newborn Jesus in the stable. The nativity scene will not be complete without the farm animals, shepherds and angels. In addition to this is the presence of the three kings and their respective gifts. This is the usual scene in the Christmas belen.
