HappyChallenge - Going home

My entry to HappyChallenge hosted by @luciancovaci. This contest is the perfect opportunity to stop for few moments and think about what makes you happy. It doesn't need to talk about the big moments of your life, just little things that bring a smile on your face. It is Summer. Sunny days and hot weather, the perfect time for beach and waves. At least this is what most people believe. Me...well, I love mountains and I love forests.
If during the past weeks I wrote about many reasons to be happy (rain, roses, cherries), this time I have a special reason which brings me joy: I'm going to see my beloved mountains.

I'm trading the big city for the fresh air and amazing views of my little hometown. For two months I will wake up hearing roosters and cowbells instead of cars and trams. The noise surrounding the cities can be very disturbing even if it's not as pitchy as a rooster song.
I'm ecstatic when I think that in less than 24 hours I will see the high peaks poking the sky. I cannot wait to enjoy a big cup of coffee (made by my mum) while watching the clouds embracing the mountains.

What can be more entertaining than watching the nature's big creation and feeling the joy of being part of it? What can be more pleasant than filling your lungs with the alpine herbs' scent?
