My Monomad entry

Shooting with a telephoto... seeing images that I can't actually see in regular life. If that makes sense :)

I post a lot of ugly images. I don't understand why business owners and in fact everyone doesn't see the value of landscaping and creating an attractive environment for people to shop and SPEND THEIR MONEY. Sorry about yelling there. People/business owners and cities are so cheap that they don't understand how to influence others to shop and enjoy it? Quality of life? This isn't the best set of photos to go with this idea. Since I'm not a writer and in fact would much rather have a conversation with someone it isn't easy to get a point across here. I was delivery driver years ago and quickly had favourite places to deliver at. They had easy access, free parking, shady trees, lots of shade in the parking lots. Some had patio areas with tables and chairs and little ponds to sit for a minute or two and relax. Others were bare asphalt and blinding sun and heat. I would run in and out and hated even getting out of the car. It's uncomfortably hot in most of southern California 9 months of the year. Walking on scorching asphalt and parking in the sun sucks. Well well, what's the point ? Business people? Make it pretty you MF's. It will pay! Yep, make money by seducing your customer with good looks and pleasing surroundings. Or not...

If it looks like shit? It probably is. This is so easily changed. Oh well I surrender
