I'm a DAD!😁

On January 31st of this year my daughter Oaklyn was introduced to the world. She weighed in a healthy 8 lbs and measured 19.5 inches long. A life changing event for my girlfriend and I that has already brought more joy into our lives than we could have ever imagined.

Father's Day this Sunday is sure to bring a lot of emotions as we will be celebrating the beautiful little addition to our family while I also remember my father who passed away a year ago at the young age of 59. He was far from perfect, but he was my dad. A bond that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

My father earned a living with his hands as a carpenter and he really enjoyed drawing, which he used to help with his depression later in life. Those same drawing skills weren't passed down to me, but I like to believe that he inspired the creative outlets I do enjoy such as photography. I'd like to share with you some of his drawings that we discovered in his art portfolio after he passed away.
