It is well known that Facebook has publicly discussed launching a new cryptocurrency - Libra. The story has been written about in many different places, with a lot of publicity about the challenges faced, if it is ever going to "see the light of day" ...

Given the financial and regulatory challenges this launch faces all over the world, well-respected sources like CoinDesk have published articles like this one - Facebook Libra Might Never Launch, Company Concedes in SEC Disclosure.

So, in the midst of all of this hoopla surrounding Libra, sadly, there never seems to be a shortage of those trying to make a quick dollar off of defrauding gullible people. The hook? The usual "get rich quick!" scheme ...

In this case, the "hook" is baited with Libra. And, unlike many of these schemes, this one seems to be considerably more uhhh ... "polished" than most. At least on the surface ...

If you go to the website, the Home page is pretty well done. First impressions might lend some credibility to the "opportunity" for those who might be lured into checking it out.

When you start to look into the "fine print," though, cracks begin to appear. Here we see what the Roadmap looks like ...

You will almost (if ever ...) never see a professionally written web page this poorly done. The typos are a dead giveaway. And if that wasn't enough, you call this a "Roadmap?" This is not a serious "roadmap" at all ...

Looks like this was hastily written to get to the uhhh ... "bottom line" which is entice you to send them money fast (before this website is taken down and they make off with whatever funds collected ...), so you can get in on the sure thing! Right? Right ...

Please be very diligent, dear reader, when considering any type of investment. The old saying is, "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" ... Wise words.

Particularly when looking at the online version of scams, it is well-advised to look it over very carefully. As shown in this example, there are some fairly obvious clues.
