I Am The Shadow...

Amidst the love and light,
The mirror casts its reflections...

Peering deep into the present of emotion,
Beyond the mind’s preferences,
Feelings speak uninhibited.

All the work to ascend...
Coming to realization of a bigger picture,
Encompassing all swept under the rug...

“Oh shit!”
The lightworkers never told us what we’d find here...

In the “all is one...”
That we’d find we’re not only God,
But the devil.

That we’re not all love and light,
But the shadow too.
Who knew.

That all, my darkness could consume...
Including that I loved most.

And what’s left when the sun sets,
But moon gazing down to see...

I am the shadow.
And the shadow is me.

Come dance in my black,
Where at our end we all play...
Until another day,
When the light & love cycle back again...
