Another year older, another year wiser. Happy Birthday to.... ME!

I guess it's true as they say, "with age comes wisdom and a lot of grey hair".

I never did like celebrating my birthday with a grand celebration. As long as the people I love and cherish is beside, that's all that matter.

However, I was quite surprised this time as it was the first time ever my other half bought a birthday. It was not just an ordinary birthday cake.... it was a Mooncake!

A birthday mooncake shaped R was quite surprising and something else! It was a simple occasion with just the three of us since my 3 other kids is with my grandma. To me, it was really meaningful and thoughtful.

Its crust was tender and the filling which was dark bean with crunchy nuts had just the right amount of sweetness. All in all, I never did have any birthday mooncake in all my life and this was truly unique.

On this birthday the most important thing is that I am thankful to be surrounded with beautiful people. Although I am not able to be with my parents due to this lockdown but I am still glad to be able to receive their birthday wishes.

I am also thankful for being alive despite the pandemic and blessed with a good health.

I am also thankful for still being able to provide to the family during this hard time.
