Hivefest 10: returning home #4
After two and a half days of demanding work with little to no time to rest… here I am again.
My final part of the returning journey was calm but boring. I was just too tired to enjoy it. After London, there was Lisbon.
But first things first… already inside the plane, during taxi I was lucky enough to spot the historical masterpiece G-BOAB, the British Airways Concorde 🤩
After a short flight which I inteligently used to sleep a bit more, I finally arrived to Lisbon airport. Surprisingly, it was not too busy nor caotic.
I headed for the metro and went to the Vasco da Gama shopping center, just next to the Oriente station, where I would later catch my Flixbus back to Évora. I had time enough to walk for a while and have a late lunch. Entrecôte was calling 😋 and I answered the call.
One and a half hour trip to Évora and I felt I would soon be able to shower and sleep… peacefully and horizontally! 🛏️
41 hours after I called the grab that would take me from the hotel in KL to the airport… I was finally home 🥳
And I would do it all again! #hivefest for the win!
