Successful community development depends on us. All of us.
Picture an expanding balloon that has balloons inside it that have to be blown up first for it to fully inflate.
Those balloons are self and interpersonal development. These are required for working with others to effect positive societal change.
As we personally grow, we can achieve more, connect more deeply, collaborate better, and, ultimately, have a bigger ultimate impact.
To make a difference we need to be able to use our leadership skills to build coalitions with each other and organizations to engage the larger local and global community.
