Visiting the orchid exposition

Hello friends, I hope you are feeling well. In these parts of the world at last yesterday and today it rained a little and the weather has not been so hot and that makes me happy.

Today I wanted to share with you through @liketu, a little of what was an exhibition of orchids that we found last Saturday at the fair of La Asuncion, after the children's chess tournament.

And the thing is that these kids never seem to get tired and asked to stop for a while on the way home, and while they were playing, my husband (who joined us in the square), Claudi, Miranda and I went to browse around the fair, and I came across this beauty of an exhibit.

The orchid is the national flower of my country Venezuela, and in Margarita Island there is an association that is in charge of promoting not only its cultivation, but they meet from time to time to share experiences, besides making exhibitions in which they show different varieties of this flower and take some for sale.

They had from the "original " orchid to the strangest mixtures, in colors and shape, product of crosses or grafts between one species and another. The truth is that I couldn't help taking some photos to share with you and these are the ones I leave you today.

The bad thing is that the organizers were right in the middle, instead of standing to the side so that those of us who were taking pictures could have better shots, but I hope you enjoy a little of what was this beautiful exhibition.

Hola amigos, espero se encuentren súper bien. Por estos lados del mundo al fin ayer y hoy llovió un poco y el clima no ha estado tan caluroso y eso me hace feliz.

Hoy quise compartir con ustedes a través de @liketu, un poco de lo que fue una exposición de orquídeas con la que nos encontramos el sábado pasado en la feria de La Asunción, después del torneo de ajedrez de los niños.

Y es que estos niños parece que jamás se cansan y pidieron parar un rato de camino a casa, y mientras ellos jugaban, mi esposo (que se nos unió en la plaza), Claudi, Miranda y yo nos fuimos a curiosear por la feria, y me encontré con esta belleza de exposición.

La orquídea es la flor nacional de mi país Venezuela, y en Isla Margarita hay una asociación que se encarga de promover no solo su cultivo, sino que se reúnen cada cierto tiempo para compartir experiencias, además de realizar exposiciones en las que muestran distintas variedades de esta flor y llevan algunas para la venta.

Tenían desde la orquídea "original" hasta las mezclas más extrañas, en colores y forma, producto de los cruces o injertos entre una y otra especie. Lo cierto es que yo no podía dejar de tomar algunas fotos para compartir con ustedes y son las que les dejo hoy.

Lo malo es que los organizadores estaban justo en el medio, en lugar de ubicarse a un lado para que los que tomábamos fotos tuviésemos mejores tomas, aun así espero disfruten un poco de lo que fue esta linda exposición.
