Bengali New Year celebration
Today is the first day of Bengali year. The first month of the Bengali New Year is Boishakh. Bangalis all over the world celebrate this with the biggest festival that is called 'Boishakhi Mela'.
Men wear panjabi/fotua and women wear saaree. Everyone looks very nice. Children come in the fair with their parents. They buy toys,masks, musical instruments, sweets etc.
Everyone eats panta bhat(one kind of rice) with Hilsha fish fry. This is the main festive food in this day
