Hello and welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 278! My name is @rishagamo. The theme of the week “Funny song” and in response to this, I will be singing the cover of “Kirike Gam Gam” by Renkini Micah.

“Kirike Gam Gam” Is a song in Hausa Language of the Northern Nigeria people. The message of the song is to women, advising them to hold tight their husbands being that it is God that has given them, in suffering, or even in trouble, in hunger or in surplus, in enjoyment or lack, even if he steals, hold him tight and after which you give him an advice that will change him, no matter the condition, in sickness or good health, they are advised by the song writer to hold on to hold on to their husbands. Calling him sweet names and letting him know that you love him. And it goes on and on..
