Me pregunto cómo sería la luna,
si tu sonrisa no fuera mía…
¿Sería menos intensa? ¿Sería más opaca?
O tal vez sería aún más hermosa que la luna misma.
En estas dudas… me pongo a pensar;
¿Mentiras? ¡Dolores de verdad!
Y me pregunto, como sería toda la vida si tu no estas…
¿Sería igual de cruel el mundo? O tendría más amor en verdad…
No lo sé…
y entre dudas y verdades…
Solo quisiera saber una cosa…
Como sería la poesía, mi poesía…
Si no fueras mi mujer.
I wonder what the moon would be like,
If your smile wasn't mine...
Would it be less intense? Would it be more opaque?
Or maybe it would be even more beautiful than the moon itself.
In these doubts… I start to think;
Lies? Real pain!
And I wonder, what would life be like if you weren't...
Would the world be just as cruel? Or would I really have more love...
I do not know…
and between doubts and truths…
I just wanted to know one thing...
What would poetry be like, my poetry…
If you weren't my wife.
