No Budget? No Problem! Barkada Style Birthday
Hey guys! So last October 27, we celebrated our amiga’s birthday in the simplest but happiest way ever! Since we didn’t have much money to go out, we all decided to just celebrate at their house — actually, in front of their house, because the kitchen was broken. 🥲
We all chipped in some money, just enough to buy what we needed. No fancy food, no decorations — just us, the barkada, and our favorite homemade dishes! 🍴 Our menu? Tiil sa manok, kinilaw na fish, bihon, and of course, tinae sa manok — our ultimate comfort food combo. 😂
We cooked everything outside, laughing the whole time while chopping the lamas. Someone was crying over onions, someone was busy mixing the bihon, and someone just kept taste-testing every dish! The smell of the food filled the air, and even if it was a simple setup, the vibe was just perfect.
When the food was ready, we gathered around, ate together, and talked about all the funny high school memories we’ll never forget. It was one of those moments that remind you — it doesn’t matter where you are or how simple the celebration is, as long as you’re with the right people.
We didn’t have a fancy party, but we had laughter, love, and full tummies. That’s already more than enough. 🥰
