How to Do Forward Roll
If you do sports like gymnastics, parkour, or even martial arts, you learn how to roll. That's one of the basic moves.
Sometimes I share parkour videos. It is amazing how they jump, climb and roll. If you practice martial arts, you also practice rolling. Today we are going to talk about how to do forward rolls.
Let's get to the main point. To do forward rolling, get down in a squat position and lift your heels up and put your weight on your toes. Tuck in your chin while getting down to roll, put your hands on the ground and push to roll.
Your head will not directly hit on the ground while rolling, that's why make sure that you keep your head down. You get in the same position after rolling.
To practice forward roll at the beginning, you can choose a ground that is not hard. You can place your hands on your ground first and then roll. Do not place your hands too far while starting to roll. Try to do it slowly. Later, you can do it fast. Spend some time to practice and you will get better at rolling.
I hope you will find it useful. Thank you so much for reading this. Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
Stay safe. Always be happy!
