Weeklyish Running Update...
Another week's running, best described as starting off feeling a bit knackered but gradually feeling a little better as the week went on...
Monday slow run
It is what it is, a slow run!
OH NB I did do a few 'Strides' after this, just took it fairly easy, I found these surprisingly tough even though I only did about 3 proper ones, not at full pace, my legs felt it all week!
Treadmill Intervals
So once again the track was taken up by a sports day - I opted to do some treamill intervals instead which I haven't done for ages.
I warmed up for 5 mins on the X trainder, then did about 1.5KMs building up from 10kS to about 13KM/ Hr which is like my usual warm up pace.
I had to have a bit of a think about how KM/ HR translates to Minutes per KM!
I did:
1.4Ks @ 14KPH
1K @ 14KPH
800M @ 14KPH
so that's 3.2Ks I think
Then I think I did a couple of 400M at 14.5KPH....
Something like that at least!
Park Run
I had planned to take it easy as usual, but ended up doing a fairly good time, set in behind a couple who looked like they were going at a sensible pace and just let them guide me round for the most part and then took of in the last couple of Ks..
Splits were OK...
Next week's plans....
I will do some strides again, I really want to get back to the track and hopefully I can get a park run in too!
