Weekly ish running update...
I managed four runs in the last week!
Sunday's Run Longer - just!
Headed out on Sunday for a nice gentle slightly longer than usual run, at 7.2K - a slightly different route along back roads and another local park, was nice, finished at a Costa and had a croissant and a coffee sweaty in my own filth!
Tuesday intervals
The athletics track was closed due to school sports days so I had to head to the local park where I normally do Park Run and did whatever intervals I could manage....
I think it swas 1.6K, then 900M (due to a tram line!) then 1.2 - I think I was aiming for more but pulled out early, then a couple of 400s.
I was done by this point, it's defo harder with the turns, harder on the joints and psychologically too...
Thursday slow
Not a lot to say, I've been doing a lot of walking recently so my legs were feeling a little tight, but no matter I just did a VERY slow slow run! Enjoyed it!
Park Run...
I was feeling pretty good... but not quite in a PB mood -
here's the splits, quite happy, not sure I could have run this much faster, this wasn't all out but I think going any harder would have been unpleasant!
I'm hoping that I can just gently nudge the Park Run up to a faster time without too much pain!
