Plant of the day is a daily post from our Instagram page. Today we are featuring our Texas grown purple tomatillos. Grow with us @RehabGardens on all platforms.
Tomatillos are prolific growers that do great in the Texas sun of zone 9. If you plant in grow be sure to give them plenty of space as one plant can grow into a 8 foot bush. However, if you do not have a lot of space available this is a great option for container gardening. Keep her well feed and she will maximize your growing space. Keep at least two plants in your garden to get good cross pollination.
