Patchwork 20
Transformed into an animal, letting that spirit move its body, it observes the world of humans step by step, with desires hidden beneath garments. It stops when their senses are about to collide with what is truly happening before their feet.
It sniffs out lies, sees lies, lies that hide the faces and bodies of others whose bodies are moved by other animal spirits. Flooding the senses to mask the mountains of ice hidden behind smiles, behind the colors of clothes that float, behind the fragrances of a sinking.
Animals in humans, surrounded by humans trying to be humans, ripping away their animal nature. Desires hidden among great structures of ideas, built by humans to hide those same desires that have made them build great structures of ideas where they can hide from themselves.
Transformed into an animal, it scratches against a tree, yawns. An ant climbs up its leg. It feels what it has to do, the only thing it has to do at that moment, and, resolved, it does it: It prepares a snack of whatever the animal of the spirit that moves it eats.
