Poncho project needs ideas
Here is a poncho I have started for my adult niece, at her request. It is knitted from the neck down. The colors are ecru and sage green, it will be mostly green. It's hard to see in the lighting of this photo.
I love knitting things for loved ones, although usually it is something small, like a scarf or a hat. My big challenge will be adding a hood, which she has requested. The pattern doesn't include one, and I didn't find any adult ponchos with hoods on Ravelry. So, I am looking at hoods I have, looking at patterns and may try designing one myself, which would be a first. Luckily, we have a yarn shop nearby with really amazing staff who can mentor me on this. And I have some time - this is a very large piece of work.
If anyone has any pattern ideas about hoods, please let me know. Or just comment!
