The fastest Robot dog so far.
The robotics race is not only getting smarter, it is also getting faster and a new robot has just shown how far it can go, the Chinese company Agibot presented the D1 Max, a quadruped robot that reaches an impressive 8 meters per second, a speed that until recently seemed impossible for machines of this type.
But this is not just about speed, but about real operating capacity, D1 Max can load up to 30 kg, operate for about 5 hours and operate in extreme conditions, from negative temperatures to very hot environments and perhaps the most curious thing is that it can also operate in environments with water, which further expands the type of emission that it can execute, what really changes here is the combination, speed, strength, autonomy and intelligence, because this robot not only runs in a straight line, it also avoids moving obstacles, adapts to the environment and can be equipped with different modules for specific tasks.
