CZ is trying to involve crypto in so many things as part of its awareness initiative and in a way it’s working. Just few weeks ago Binance sponsored the Grammys, right now it’s sponsoring The Weeknd’s after hours tour. I am a big fan of the weekend and after hours is one of my best albums, seeing the news that Binance is going to be the official sponsor of the tour just lightened my day. Because, this is going to be the first crypto sponsored tour and having Binance sponsor it is a big deal.

The weekend is one of the most streamed artist on Spotify, this shows how much people love his songs. He has over 50 Million monthly listeners and 39 Million Instagram followers, this partnership with Binance and Binance being its sponsor is going to create a crypto path for artist, tours and music shows. This is just the beginning, there are perks that came with Binance being the official sponsor of The Weeknd’s tour and this is making me feel like I had the opportunity to attend.

As usual it was expected to see some NFT collections based on The Weeknd tours. These NFTs could media or audio but giving the fans a sentimental feeling on their tour experience while having Binance as the official crypto sponsor and minting these NFT on the BNB Chain.

Binance also promised to donate to The Weeknd’s charity organization that is focused on tacking world hunger. $2 Million will be donated to The Weeknd humanitarian program.

Introducing The Fans To Crypto

This is the perfect time to introduce The Weeknd’s fans to crypto. We need more crypto adoption, we need more crypto demand and how do we get this? It’s by using a means they are used to, just like last year, 2021, crypto exchanges focused on the sport industry to create awareness on that part, its 2022 and it seems like Binance is using a different strategy which is the media entertainment industry like music and possibly movies. He once tweeted about bringing movies to crypto or crypto to movies.
