Secret Invasion Trailer is Here

The trailer for this show looks brilliant. But this show has two big hurdles to overcome. One, this clearly should have been a movie. This is an Avengers level threat and at should have been an Avengers movie or at the very least a Captain Marvel sequel as the first movie introduced the Skrulls to the MCU. The second problem is actually the Skrulls. Captain Marvel introduced them as the good guys, they just want a home, they are not evil. So now we are just meant to believe that some of them want to simply take over the planet. Somehow it just doesn't work for me.

Other than that it looks brilliant. Looks like Samuel L. Jackson has brought his A game. It's also nice to see Ben Mendelsohn back, but it is really great to see Cobie Smulders back as Maria Hill. Emilia Clarke has hardly done anything good outside of A Game of Thrones so I hope she won't bring the show down. I feel like this show needs more then Don Cheadle as War Machine representing the Avengers. We will see. Perhaps the show will make it make sense. Although considering our past with Disney+ shows, I somehow doubt it.

I am still moderately excited for the show and a bit disappointed that it got pushed back to June 21.
