Growing a maple tree

At work one of the beds we cleaned up had a well progressed maple tree, so obviously i decided to save him. Here are some photos of his progress.

As he has grown Ive been adding soil layers and compost and mealworm poop layers and further unrolled the sides of the grain bag to get him to the soil depth I would like. Last night we had a frost so I fully closed his bag around him to protect from frost bite.
