Weekly Oneup Rising Star Post - Week 2

I am the Account Manager for the Rising Star Game Account of the Oneup-Cartel, so this post is about my weekly progress on playing the game! The Oneup-Cartel is a very active gaming community on the Hive blockchain. 😄

How are you doing?

I am doing great! Had my first music show in the PIZZA DISCORD yesterday and it was really fun! 😄 Never did something like this before, so I was quite nervous. But all went good. 😉
Well guys, this is my second report about playing the Rising Star account for the Oneup-Cartel.

Rising Star is a P2E game on the Hive blockchain where you start as a lowly busker and work your way up to stardom. You can either invest money in to to speed up your progress - by buying cardpacks or cards from the ingame market - or also start playing without any investing any money. That´s what I really like about the game, that everyone has a chance to play and can make great progress. Not only the people who can invest money in it.

This game might not seem to be complicated at first glance, but it has alot of tactical elements to it, which - I can see that in the community - most people don´t really have a clue about. But to maximize your earnings (and I think the ROI of the game is really good), you need to understand and play these tactics.

It will be much too long, if I tell you about all these tactics now. So I will do bits and pieces every week. This week we will start with the basics. The different stats you have in the game.

FANS

Fans is the main stat of the game. The more fans you have, the more Starbits you will earn for your missions. So you basically need alooot of fans when you want to make a good earning. When you unlock level 15 or have more than 1000 fans this whole thing will be more complicated due to the "Ego" which will be unlocked. But that´s for another post.

Fans are either attached to people cards or vehicles. There are also fan boost cards. But these are not included in the card packs anymore. You either need to buy these from the market or you can win one each week in the weekly Twitch Show of Rising Star. But they are not worth the effort to be honest.

LUCK

Luck affects the amount of skillpoints you get for music lessons. But only for the music lesson which is the same as the instrument type. For example: When you have a drumset it will only affect the amount of skill you get for drum lessons.
It is important to focus on one instrument type and only collect this type of instruments to pump up one specific music lesson. That is essential to the game.

SKILL

Skillpoints are, as just said, rewarded for doing music lessons. You need these to keep your "Ego" as low as you can. But I will explain all in detail next post.

IM

This is currently only counting for leaderboard rankings in the game. So if you want to come up to a high rank on the leaderboard, you should also be collecting as much IM as you can. But apart from that, it does not have any function in the game. They plan to use it further in the game in the future though.

That´s at least the basic stats explained for today.

Coming back to the cartels account:

Second week of playing the account

Level reached: 19 (almost got my goal 😄)

Leaderboard Ranking: 1158

Highest Mission: Stage 1, Mission 6 (Saturday Support)

I opened up some packs and was lucky to get at least one epic.

I started focussing on the instrument type "MICs" because this is the most profitable one for me right now, and it is already accessible with the level I am currently.

I also staked on some records to get some passive income. What record staking is, I will also explain later on.

And I bought some STARBITS and PIZZA and invested in the Swap Pool to generate some passive income. So hopefully, when I am getting to level 50, I will be able to get the Millionairs Card.

In this early stage of the game the goal should not be to earn starbits really, but to collect instruments, build up your level and skill as fast as you can by doing music lesson as often as you can.
