Fast lane:a place where history was made

Hello wrestling lovers, it's so good to be back again for another wonderful time with the WWE event. As we all know WWE is full of different events around the year, they bring to the WWE universe exciting events to keep the love for wrestling alive every week and every month. This month of October isn't an exception. On October 7, the WWE organization presented Fastlane 2023. It was a great event where history was made, where scores were settled, and where new champions were crowned.

For some time now, there has been a misunderstanding among the bloodline, Jey Uso seems not to be on the same page with the head of the table and the rest of the group. This caused his departure from the group, he became a lone ranger which attracted many enemies one of them being the judgment day. The judgment day which comprises Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio wanted Jey Uso to join the group but he refused and they hated him for turning down their offer. Jey was being harassed countless times but he refused to give in to their request and at a fast lane, they settled their scores for the tag team championship.

Cody Rhodes has always gotten Jey's back whenever he is in trouble and this made both Jey and Cody team up as tag teams against the judgment day Finn Balor and Damian Priest. The judgment day was the defending champions but I guess they let their guard down, they were unable to return to the locker room with the title they came out with. At Fastlane, new winners were crowned the WWE's undisputed tag team champions as Jey and Cody won the match-up.

LWO and Carlito teamed up against Bobby Lashley and the street profits. Who could have thought that the match would out the way it does, Bobby would have helped the street profits secure a win but at times, things don't go as planned. I guess their plans failed them and in the end, the group of LWO and Carlito won the match.

Now coming to the women's division, ever since Iyo Sky won the WWE women's title, that has given her the vibes she needed to face any competitor. Asuka and Charlotte Flair challenged Iyo Sky for the WWE women's title, it was a great match to behold as the three competitors wrestled with all their might but in the end, I guess there was luck backing up Iyo Sky which made her defeat other two wrestlers of all time and crowned her the winner and still retaining her title.

John Cena came back to WWE and wanted a spot at Fastlane which made the bloodline Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa have their eyes on him because he helped AJ Styles when he was being harassed by the bloodline. Unfortunately, John Cena didn't have a partner, and that made the match two against one handicapped match but John wasn't comfortable with this as he had been beaten up by the bloodline a week before Fastlane.

On Monday Night Raw, the bloodline decided to beat John up once more but this time the story changed. Immediately the bloodline attacked John Cena, a help came for him, LA Knight came to his rescue, and that made the match tag team match. At Fastlane, the score was settled as John Cena and LA Knight defeated the bloodline. John Cena is a legend known for his skills-friendly nature and his popular statement "Never give up" This made me love him and choose him as one of my favorite wrestlers.

Seth Rollins is a man of valor who will never give up no matter the obstacles on his way to success. He is the defending WWE heavyweight champion and he has tried his best to retain his title until now. Shinsuke Nakamura was his challenger and on Monday Night Raw, they had different encounters which caused pain to Seth's back yet he never gave up. He took up the challenge for a last-man-standing match at Fastlane and it was a match where history was made.

The two men fought with all their strength and as I expected, Seth Freakin Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a last-man-standing match at Fastlane retaining his title as the WWE heavyweight champion. Fastlane is gone but the fun and experiences left behind are still being talked about by the WWE universe and all wrestling lovers.
