CodeAcademy Is Giving Away 10,000 Pro Subscriptions To Students For Free
Since everyone is stuck at home due to the corona virus outbreak, why not use this time to learn how to code?
Coding is a very useful and in demand skill for a student in this digital age. There are so many things that you can achieve if you know how to code. But hey, you don't have to take my word for it. Even Stephen Hawking, one of brightest minds to have ever existed once said --
“Whether you want to uncover the secrets of the universe, or you just want to pursue a career in the 21st century, basic computer programming is an essential skill to learn.”
I think we can now safely say that programming is an indispensible skill to have in our arsenal.
To help you kickstart your coding journey, CodeAcademy is giving out 10,000 pro subscriptions to students for a period of 90 days absolutely free under their "learn from home" initiative.
To take advantage of this opportunity, go through the following steps:
- Go to www.codeacademy.com/learn-from-home.
- Scroll down and you'll see scholarship for students.
- Click on student signup.
- If you have a university or school email id you can go ahead and sign up and you'll receive the pro subscription.
- However if you don't have one (I didn't have one), you can still get the pro subscription for free.
Scroll down and you'll see an FAQ section.
Under the "What should I do if my school email doesn't work?" section, you will find a link to a form as you can see in the picture above. Create a regular CodeAcademy account and fill out the form and submit the necessary details.
Your basic account will be converted to a Pro account and you can access all of their course materials.
This post is in no way sponsored by CodeAcademy and I am only sharing this because I love their platform and think that it is beneficial for my fellow students.
In fact, this is where I first learned to code myself.
If you face any difficulties, please let me know in the comments below and I'll try my best to help you out.
