Splinterland's : A Life combination that is very hard to take down.

Remember the days of the Untamed when legendary archon "Yodin Zaku" launched, Yodin Zaku explosiveness or grant of blast ability sometimes caused opponent to lose half of the team even before round 1 of battle ends. Just think, an monster with blast ability is sniping in the mid of your team, effectively doing damage to your 3 monsters with it's single attack, and just think opponents and if it is not snipe, you are still getting the damage to 2 monsters of yours with opponent's single attack. With Untamed rotated out of Modern and some stronger cards released, I guess Yodin Zaku may not be feared as much now (also, I am not playing Wild, so I may not be aware).

But now I am in modern and fear of Yodin Zaku is long gone, but I still find some cards and combination that are really hard to beat. One of the cards that I occasionally encounter the Legendary Life card Dar'Gottem'Gearnut. Though this card is part of Conclave Aracana set family but actually, this card is the promo card (sold in shop for the Vouchers) and that exclusive shop sale ended for this card, market is the only option to get hold of this card.

At level 1, it comes with 20 health, 3 armor which make it a very strong tank to take it down. Also it has 2 melee attack with trample ability. At its highest level 4 it health increases to the 25, armor to 4 and it has additional abilities of Flank, inspire and void. Though it's melee attack is 3 , but its own inspire ability if activated in battle increases it's own attack to 4.

So when I have to encounter this card in one of my battle, I already thought that I would lose the battle, but mysteriously I prevailed in the battle, Here is the Link to Battle and I still think , my opponent has easily won this battle if my opponent has just added an another monster in the lineup that make it deadly combination.

Yes, friends , you got it right , this is "Meriput Magician" Common life card from rebellion set, it has tank heal property. Now just imagine if your tank got healed that already start with 20+ health then how hard it will become to take down this card.

So in my personal opinion, combination of Dar'Gottem'Gearnut + Meriput Magician under standard battle condition (no handicap to these card due to ruleset like no healing etc.) will make this combination very deadly.

I am almost sure if my opponent has used the Meriput Magician too in the lineup, I have definitely lost the battle.
