I walked with you with pleasure. Charming cityscapes and those concrete benches indeed fit well in it. I got your thesis that best (fave) benches are the anti-vandal ones. Thats a solid criteria! For me I think its the benches that more comfortable to sit and made with more delicate taste in the style of past times (like the modern designers are not capable of nowadays... well most of them. Or maybe they consider old-fashion-style does not fit well into modern minimalistic more-plastic-is-fantastic urban style? they - or their clients - someone definitely to blame for this hehe).
