Potato/Root vegetables container with window!

Just got these as a xmas gift to the house!...getting excited about starting next years garden!

I got a 4 pack of these for $20 on * m * z * n...i would link the product, but they dont need any more money

These look cool, i actually have a few blue potatoes with some roots growing, as well as an onion thats grown about a foot, so im wondering if they could stay inside for the winter if i get some dirt and set them by the window...but they would only get abt 5 hrs of sunlight.

The window for harvesting looks really cool!

Anyone have any experience using something similar? The 10 gallons turned out to be far bigger than what i was expecting!...im thinking one container for potatoes, one for onions, one for beets or carrots or maybe or some ginger or something else
