B-Boys And B-Girl Breakdancing Battle, pt. 1

I just found out about this event a couple days ago, and I'm glad i went! it was Grand Wizard Theodore's birthday and there were some workshops and battles at a local dance studio just outside downtown Cleveland.

Grand Wizard Theodore is actually the DJ that invented the scratch! it was an accident while trying to keep the part in his record and his hand moved, creating an interesting sound that he practiced before debuting it at a party-the rest is history. scratch history!

there were many talented Breakdancers tonight, from all over the US and the world!

they were filming the whole thing, but here is some footage that i got of the first round of the breakdancing battle. there were some though calls for sure!
